1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the Unwrap iPhone and iPad app and this product website. For privacy questions or requests, contact the Unwrap developer at boxing.support@gmail.com.
2. Files and archive processing
Opening, previewing, compressing and extracting archives happen on your device. Unwrap does not send archive contents or archive passwords to the developer. Files are accessed when you select them, share them to Unwrap, or grant access through system interfaces. Previewing, importing and archive operations can create temporary working files on the device.
3. Local settings and storage
Unwrap stores app settings and information needed for its features locally, such as language and appearance preferences, recent archive references, folder access bookmarks, filename encoding choices and purchase entitlement state. The app and its share extension use a shared app container to transfer selected files and preferences. These records are not sent to the developer. Archives saved in the app's Unwrap folder are visible in Files. Deleting the app deletes its app-owned storage, including that folder; move files you wish to keep to another location first.
4. System services and file providers
If you choose iCloud Drive, a network location or a third-party file provider, that provider handles the associated storage and transfer according to its own settings and privacy policy. Apple's photo picker supplies the photos or videos you select. Notifications, if you allow them, are used for local operation status. You can manage permissions in system Settings. Device backups and operating-system diagnostics are controlled by your Apple settings and Apple's services.
5. Purchases
Unwrap Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment details. Unwrap uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to unlock Pro and restore purchases. The developer does not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple's purchase and privacy terms apply to its processing.
6. Information you send to support
If you email support, we receive the address you write from and the content and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate the reported issue. Email is handled by our email service provider. Please avoid sending passwords, private archives, or other unnecessary personal information. We keep correspondence only as needed to handle support, resolve related issues and meet applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence; some information may need to be retained where required by law.
7. Website visits
This website has no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies, third-party fonts, or embedded social widgets. It is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes and may process service data under the GitHub Privacy Statement. This hosting activity is separate from the Unwrap app's local archive processing. Following an external link is subject to the destination service's privacy policy.
8. Your choices
You can remove files through Files, clear available temporary storage from Unwrap Settings, manage system permissions, or delete the app. Files stored outside the app's own storage, including files at a cloud provider, must be managed at those locations. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of information you voluntarily sent to support.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the app, website or relevant practices change. The latest version is published on this page with its update date.
