SubFlow uses Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). The information below explains the product and subscription behavior; it does not replace that agreement or your applicable consumer rights.
1. License agreement
Your use of SubFlow is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA. SubFlow is developed by Bo Xing. For app support, contact boxing.support@gmail.com. Our privacy policy describes data handling.
2. Free and Pro features
The free version includes full-length video playback, automatic subtitles for the first 10 minutes of each video, existing embedded or external subtitles, manual subtitle timing shifts, and all supported network sources (WebDAV, SMB, FTP/FTPS, Emby, and Jellyfin). Subtitle size, position, black outline, and background opacity are also adjustable for free. The recognition limit does not limit video playback or the duration of existing subtitles. All subtitle file exports require an active Pro subscription.
SubFlow Pro is an auto-renewable subscription with monthly and yearly options offering the same features. Pro enables recognition beyond the free limit, bilingual translation, advanced subtitle styles and presets, SRT/VTT/ASS/TXT export without SubFlow attribution, batch transcription, subtitle editing, and AI timing alignment. Export requires Pro for embedded, imported, generated, and previously saved subtitle tracks alike. Video export is currently unavailable. Device, language, model, and format limitations still apply.
3. Billing and renewal
Available plans, the billing period, and the actual local price are displayed in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple may charge renewal during the 24 hours before the end of the period. Applicable taxes, pricing, and any price-change notifications are handled by Apple for your storefront.
Manage or cancel through Apple’s subscription settings. Canceling normally retains access for the remainder of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple at Report a Problem, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable law.
4. Restoring access and expiration
Open Settings → SubFlow Pro → Restore Purchase in SubFlow while signed into the Apple Account used to purchase Pro. Access depends on Apple-verified subscription status. When Pro expires, new processing returns to free limits and Pro processing safely stops or pauses with committed progress preserved.
Existing generated, translated, edited, or exported subtitles are not deleted or shortened because a subscription expires. You can still play and view saved content. Exporting subtitle files again requires an active Pro subscription, and Pro queues require a valid subscription to resume.
5. Your media and optional services
You are responsible for having the rights needed to access media and use or share subtitle outputs. SubFlow does not supply a media catalog and does not bypass DRM. Network sources are provided for browsing and playback.
Optional BYOK services use the endpoint and API key you supply. Their terms and fees apply separately from SubFlow Pro. Automatic recognition, translation, and timing are imperfect; review outputs before relying on or distributing them. Supported languages and features depend on the device and installed models, and uninterrupted background transcription is not guaranteed.
